Raid Card Tutorial :
A. Enter the RAID Utility
1. Plug the Raid card to the PCI bus of PC
2. Restart the PC
3. Press F3 on keyboard to enter Raid Utility during booting Dos

4. Then, the screen will display the harddisks information
5. You can set Raid now
B. Delete raid set
1. Press F1 to delete RAID set

2. The screen will display the RAID setting that you have set before
3. Enter the set number for the RAID set to be delete

4. "Are you sure? (Y/N)" will display on screen

5. Press the " Y "
6. Then, you can delete the RAID set that you want to delete

C. Create raid set
1. Press F2 to create RAID set

a. Press F1 to create Striped set
1. You can select the chunk size to be used in Striped set, but it recommends to use auto

2. So, press the "A"
3. Enter the total number of drives (2 or 3 or4) in Striped set (Maximum = 4)

4. "Are you sure? (Y/N)" will display on screen

5. Press the " Y "
6. Then, you can complete the Striped set

b. Press F2 to create Mirrored set

1. "Do you want automatic setup (No copy operation)? (Y/N)" will display on the screen

2. Press ¡§Y¡¨ to use automatic setup
3. "Are you sure? (Y/N)" will display on screen

4. Press the " Y "
5. Then, two harddisks are mirrored

6. Also, You can repeat the above steps to set another two harddisks in Mirrored set
c. Press F3 to create Mirrored-Striped (Must have 4 harddisks)
1. You can select the chunk size to be used in Striped set, but it recommends to use auto
2. So, press the " A "
3. "Are you sure? (Y/N)" will display on screen

4. Press the " Y "
5. Then, two harddisks are mirrored
