 How to build a mirror set (Raid 1) on hard disks with an existing operating system or files :
To build a mirror set to provide data redundancy. At the same time, you do not want to lose any data on your hard disks during building raid set. Use the following steps:
1. Start computer and press F3 on keyword when the below message appears.
2. The BIOS of Raid card detects and shows the information of attached hard disks.
3. Press F2 to create RAID set.
4. Press F2 again to create Mirrored set.
5. Then a question, "Do you want automatic setup (No copy operation)? (Y/N)" appears on the screen. You must select Y. [Important: If select N, it may result in loss of all data on hard disk]
6. In this step, select one hard disk containing your data to be copied (mirrored) as source drive and other disk as destination drive to store mirrored data. Then, enter Y to enable Auto-Rebuild and type Y to finish the mirror set setup.
7. Finally, the mirrored set is built. Press ESC to exit.
