Equipped with multiple Digital Media connections, the DV-2000 MediaCombo is the perfect complement for DV camcorder owners - they can now use their PCs as a Digital Media Station to capture, edit, create, distribute and store their video footages, making the DV-2000 MediaCombo a complete yet afforadable video production solution.
The DV-2000 MediaCombo adapter features 3 ports IEEE1394a(Firewire/i.Link), 2 USB ports and an internal UltraDMA 33/66/100/100 Raid interface, all combined in a PCI adapter card.
It comes bundled with one of the most popular and comprehensive DV capturing and editing sofware suites available today, providing users with the functionality and flexibility needed to creat and edit porfessional quality video on their PCs.

The InnoDV DV2000 MediaCombo PCI adapter features:
3-FireWire /IEEE 1394 Ports-- The DV-2000 adapter is easy to install and includes three ultra-fast FireWire/IEEE 1394 ports. Only one of these ports is required to connect the DV camcorder to the PC. The additional ports provide plug-and-play connectivity for other FireWire/IEEE 1394 compatible peripherals.
2-USB Host Ports - In addition, the DV2000MC100 Raid provides a USB controller with 2 External USB Host ports. The USB controller is particularly useful for older Pcs - Besides providing 2 USB ports for devices such as scanners and printers, the IEEE 1394 also allows older Pcs to achieve data transfer rates far beyond that of USB connections. The end-result is a fully functional digital media station capable of working with the latest DV camcorders.
UltraDMA33/66/100/100 Raid Controller --the embedded UDMA100 IDE RAIDcontroller denotes a category of disk drives that employ two or more combined drives to provide a balance of performance and data protection. The need for fast and reliable data transfers, facilitated by the rapid development of data transfer interfaces and hard-disk manufacturing technoogy has led to the emergence of RAID as an industry standard and an essential must for digital video applications. The DV-2000 with an IDE BIOS built-in automatically identifies and configures drive types and supports UltraDMA mode.
PCI Slot--The DV-2000 only takes one PCI slot instead of three (USB controller, IDE controller and IEEE 1394 FireWire Controller). Besides freeing up PCI slots, it also greatly reduces the chances of IRQ conflicts between devices.
The DV-2000 MediaCombo supports DOS 5.X or above (for IDE Connection), Microsoft Windows 95 OSR2.1 and above, Windows 98 / Windows 98 Second Edition / Windows ME, Windows 2000 and NT 4.X.
